Pre-Mission Curse

The pre-mission curse has begun.  For those who don't know what happened to the other Elder Berryhill (Bobby, my brother) let me tell you.  Before he left for his mission, he totaled his Ford Excursion and broke our Honda Accord.  His misfortune begun 3 weeks before he was supposed to report to the MTC (Missionary Training Center) and so has mine.  On Monday (June 6th) I picked up my sisters from school in my Jeep Wrangler and on my way home I rear-ended a car in front of our library.  Today (June 10th), my dad and I went to drop off his BMW to be serviced and we were headed to one of his meetings in my mom's Ford Excursion when we noticed an odd noise.  We pulled off the road, popped the hood and started looking to find out what the problem was.  The source of the problem was a broken V-belt.  Being that we were in Solon, we drove to the Ford dealership where they told us that not only was the belt broken but that the broken belt had frayed the positive battery cable down to the core.  What a day, my fingers are crossed that nothing else like this is going to happen before I leave.
